about

To Whom It May Concern:

This is every song we put out as properly as we could back then. The first four songs are our first EP, Who Needs Talent, which came out in September of 2001. The next batch is from our EP, Shit Outta Luck, which we recorded in February of 2002, but didn't release until July of 2002. Originally we wanted to put some of the songs on a split, one song on a comp, and then the others on their own EP. But that split fell through, that comp didn't do so well, and well, by the time Summer of 2002 had rolled around we were tired of sitting on those songs. As 2002 was winding down something had to change in the band and 'Mondo joined as our lead guitarist. He really shook things up for us and we moved forward to write and record a full-length that featured his playing. We entered the second location of Love Juice Labs Studio in Fullerton on the very first day of September 2003. We spent a total of 14 days spread out over the course of three months working on Cliché for the Ages. We released it in January of 2004, but shortly after we ran out of steam and decided to slow things down and wrap things up by the summer. This resulted in a falling out with 'Mondo a month after the release and a string of awkward shows. Awkward because we hobbled through new material with a lack of a lead guitarist and we assumed that every show might be our last. Finally, we wrapped things up at a very fun and intimate show in June 2004 with a group of very devoted fans. Jerome, Adrian, and I moved on to other bands and moved on in general with our lives, but never really forgot those four incredible years of making music we had and all the friends we made. From the bottom of our hearts thank you for all your love and support after all these years.

Sincerely,
Emilio, Jerome, and Adrian
